Recruitment Privacy Statement

By submitting an application for a vacant position or registering interest for employment with Health Communication Network (HCN) you will supply us with information that is personal information subject to the Privacy Act.

The personal information contained in your application will be used by us to:

• Assess your suitability for any vacant positions at HCN;
• Administer your application for employment, which includes the conducting of reference checks;
• Communicate with you in relation to your application.

Your application will be viewed by the HCN management and staff involved in the selection process. Information contained in your application will not be disclosed to any other organisation.

If you wish to request access to personal information contained in your application you can do so by contacting us by phone, email or in writing. In normal circumstances we will give you full access to your personal information, however there may be some legal or administrative reason to deny you access, in which case we will advise you of our reason.
