Medical Director 3 For Specialists

HCN is pleased to announce that Medical Director 3 ("MD3") will be released as of the first week in August via controlled rollout.

The key benefits of MD3 centre around three pillars:

1. Less Advertising Interference
   The "splash screen" on printing have been removed from MD3, improving clinical workflow..
2. Increased Speed and Stability
   The new SQL database means that MD3 is faster in accessing and using your patient files and is now able to support much larger practices and more patient files.
3. Same Core Look and Feel
   The renowned user utility and breadth of clinical functionality of MD2 has been retained.

One of the major benefits of MD3 is that it provides the platform upon which HCN will deliver a pipeline of very exciting enhancements and functionality that are currently under development. These include Surgical Audit functioning, improved communications between GPs and Specialists for correspondence and patient record sharing.

We will be releasing these enhancements into MD3 over the coming months. However, MD3 in its current form already offers significant benefit to your practice.
